WHAT DOES THE FOUNDATION DO?

The Foundation expands opportunities for local Friends groups, and enhances their effectiveness. For example, the Foundation can pool collective assets for stronger investment returns, and it has the advantage of being eligible for grants for which libraries may not qualify.

Foundation donations offer a reliable way to make tax-exempt contributions to a specific library or project, or to the general fund for projects that the Foundation Board prioritizes. Individual libraries retain the control of donations given for a specific location or project.

WHO ARE FRIENDS OF THE LoSCF?

"Friends" of the Foundation are individuals or groups who support the Libraries of Stevens County. Through their generous spirit and dedicated efforts, they provide additional financial support and visibility that is crucial in our communities. They are vital to the success of the libraries!
